Cosmetic R&D Formulator (Emulsions & Anhydrous Systems)

Department: Research & Development | Location: Inzago (Milan), Italy | Type: Full-Time

We are seeking an experienced R&D Cosmetic Formulator to lead the laboratory development, color matching, and formula scaling of premium color cosmetics including mascaras, foundations, BB creams, lip glosses, lipsticks, and eyeliners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Autonomously formulate lab-scale emulsion and anhydrous makeup products adhering to strict client briefs.
  • Conduct comprehensive product safety, accelerated stability, and compatibility evaluations under ISO 22716 (GMP) and EU Cosmetics Regulation (EC 1223/2009).
  • Collaborate daily with Quality Control, Operations, and Regulatory Affairs during industrial batch production trials.
  • Draft Technical Data Sheets (TDS), Master Formulas, and Raw Material Quality Specifications.

Professional Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Chemical Engineering, or Cosmetic Science.
  • Minimum 3+ years of formulation experience within color cosmetics OEM/ODM manufacturing.
  • Strong technical expertise in laboratory equipment, ingredient interactions, and shade validation.
  • Proficient in technical English and European regulatory standards.

International OEM Sales Manager — Color Cosmetics

Department: Business Development & Global Sales | Location: Milan HQ / Remote Travel | Type: Full-Time

Responsible for driving commercial expansion, acquiring strategic multinational beauty accounts, and delivering tailored B2B private label manufacturing solutions across international markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic commercial growth plans aligned with revenue targets.
  • Manage key global client accounts and evaluate market opportunities across Europe, the Americas, and Asia.
  • Represent MPlus Cosmetics at international trade fairs (Cosmopack, MakeUp In Paris / NY / LA).
  • Negotiate manufacturing contracts, pricing frameworks, and product development lifecycles.

Professional Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, International Business, or technical cosmetic discipline.
  • 5+ years of proven B2B sales experience in cosmetic contract manufacturing or private label beauty services.
  • Fluent command of English; additional proficiency in French or Italian preferred.

Cosmetic Project Management & Client Operations Specialist

Department: Project Operations | Location: Inzago (Milan), Italy | Type: Full-Time / Internship

Coordinate full lifecycle project execution from initial client formulation brief to final commercial production, ensuring strict adherence to timelines, packaging specifications, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee primary and secondary packaging development in partnership with global packaging suppliers.
  • Track production schedules and lead cross-functional alignment across Supply Chain, R&D, and Sales.
